Effective October 1, 2004, the City of Miami Parking Surcharge rate has been reduced to 15% (fifteen percent) pursuant to Article IX of the City Code (Ordinance # 12563). The City of Miami Parking Surcharge Ordinance is imposed upon each User entering a parking transaction. The Operator of the Parking Facility is responsible for the collection and transmittal of the Surcharge to the City of Miami Finance Department. The imposition of the existing City of Miami Parking Surcharge Ordinance (Ordinance #11813) at the rate of 20% (twenty percent) will end September 30, 2004.
